To that preacher in California whom I heard on NPR this morning, saying that marriage is defined by the Bible, FUCK YOU. Is that so? Well the Bible has a lot more to say condemning DIVORCE than defining marriage. SO, if you want to define marriage by the Bible alone, two things: You
must eliminate divorce, and separate church and state. If you get married, then it must be in a church, with NO laws from state or government defining or protecting your little union, that inlcudes tax
breaks or where your retirement goes, or insurance or anything! You can't even visit your opposite-sex partner in hospitals. It's either God or government. You can no longer have both. It's either a union of
God and Church, or a business deal. You want it, then you should HAVE it all--based solely on the Bible. Be sure and read all those parts about adultery, too. Those apply to you, too.
